| Edward Dawson Carlow Cyclist Of The Year 1969 |
Edward is one of the up and coming Carlow cyclists. Twenty years of age and a member of the Future C.R.C. Carlow he came from the novice to senior grades in one season, winning 18 novice prizes 11 junior and three senior awards in the process.
A member of last year’s Carlow Ras Tailteann team, he won two senior track races- 1 mile and 5 miles in Dublin and a 50 mile Mass Start in Tuam towards the end of last season.
